Your first rally. Your first match.
PADEL 01 Beginner is a 77-page guide for adults who are new to padel. It covers the rules, the grip, every basic shot, playing off the glass and moving with your partner, with a court drill for every lesson and a four-week plan to follow.
Instant PDF download. Read it on your phone at the court, or print it.

Questions
Do I need a coach or a full court of four?
No. Every drill works with two people and a basket of balls. A friend can feed the ball by hand. Each drill also has a four-player version for when you have a full court.
I play tennis. Is this too basic for me?
It starts from zero, but the chapters on the glass, the serve rules and moving as a pair cover exactly what catches tennis players out.
How do I get the guide after paying?
You'll get an email with a download link straight away. It's a PDF, so it works on any phone, tablet or computer, and you can print it.
Are the rules up to date?
Yes. The rules follow the FIP Rules of Padel for 2026, including golden point.
What if it isn't right for me?
Email us within 14 days of buying and we'll refund you in full.
Is there a guide for intermediate players?
It's in the works, followed by the PADEL 01 app. Join the list to hear first. If you own the Beginner guide, you'll get Intermediate at half price.
